This is a very sweet romantic comedy that stars Jennifer Aniston. She portrays an ad agency copywriter that is involved with fellow costar Kevin Bacon. He is the company bad boy, and she is just too good for him. When she gets involved with Jay Mohr, she finds herself falling for him. I was surprised to find I liked Jay Mohr's character. I have never liked him in anything I have seen him in, but this is definitely the exception. This movie is enjoyable, but very predictable.
Good Guys Do Finish First
I loved this movie. After renting a string of movies while recovering from surgery I liked this one so much I went out and bought it. Jennifer Anniston is very good in the comedic role, the same sort of roll as on Friends, but she is much less of an airhead character in this movie. But, my favorite in the movie is Jay Mohr. He spends much of the movie with "Puppy Dog Eyes" for Jennifer but holds his ground. Excellent change from his role in Jerry McGuire.
Basic story is Girl (Kate) wants Boy (Sam) and job recognition, girl isn't getting either. Girl's friend leads people to believe that she is engaged to another boy (Jay playing Nick) who she has only met once at a wedding. Nick gets famous and Kate's life gets complicated. She tries to get Nick to come play the part (for money, which he refuses) and he agrees to "come to dinner". Meanwhile Nick is falling hard for Kate but she doesn't want it. Or does she? As with many real life situations...

PICTURE PERFECT is a fun romantic comedy starring Jennifer Aniston. She's having an office romance with Sam (Kevin Bacon) who likes to have no string affairs. She wants to advance in her advertising job, and to do so her friend lies and says she is engaged to this guy who she met at a wedding and got photographed with. His name is Nick (Jay Mohr). When her boss wants to meet him she has to find him and get him to play with the ruse. She becomes very manipulative and there's a few twists and turns along the way. Aniston was really good in this movie. A nice romantic comedy.
